The El Dorado County Office of Education announces Adult Education classes to be offered this fall at several locations on the Western Slope, the California Conservation Corps site in Greenwood, and in South Lake Tahoe. The Adult Education Program is new to the County Office of Education, receiving approval from the California Department of Education in March of 2006. classes will begin in September and will end in December. Classes will not be held on November 10th, 23rd, and 24th.

GED Test Preparation:
This course is designed for students to earn needed credits for graduation in the following subject areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and elective courses. A high school diploma can be earned from the El Dorado County Office of Education, Adult Education Program.

The GED Test Preparation Distance Learning Course is designed for individuals who need to work at their own pace. Students will meet briefly each week with the instructor.
